August will be a little challenging, but remember our challenges are always in service of our greater good. Throughout the month, we’ll be invited to adapt, innovate, and refine our approach as we work towards our dreams and build businesses that will offer us both soul-level fulfillment and holistic success.

A Quick Guide to Understanding Aspects:

• Conjunctions blend the energies of the planets together

• Oppositions pull us in two different directions and encourage us to find balance

• Trines bring luck and a positive flow of energy without us really having to do much other than sit back and enjoy

• Sextiles bring opportunities (but it’s up to us to take action)

• Squares bring challenges and obstacles that we are meant to learn how to overcome in order to mature and evolve

Monday August 2nd

Venus Squares Uranus: There may be a shake-up in the way you approach your business and finances. Prepare for perhaps sudden and unexpected changes, pushing you to break free from old patterns and embrace creative solutions. If your usual methods feel restrictive, let it be a prompt for you to explore bold, new ideas. Stop trying to force a square peg into a round hole - it’s time to think outside the box.

Sunday August 4th

New Moon in Leo: The themes around this new moon will be around creativity, leadership and self-expression. Set bold goals and intentions to take action towards your big dreams. Remember, you are the main character.

Venus enters Virgo: Our values are going to shift from looking god to making sense. Venus in Virgo values practicality, efficiency and refinement and encourages us to pay attention to the details and improve the systems that will support you in your success.

Monday August 5th

Mercury Stations Retrograde: I’m going to do a whole mini class, maybe ebook on how to make the most of Mercury Retrograde, especially as business owners. But as an introduction - don’t panic. I personally love these time periods because they invite us to revisit, review and reflect on what we’ve been doing. There is some extra potential for delays and misunderstanding, but also opportunities to correct past mistakes and move forward in better alignment.

Wednesday August 7th

Sun sextile Jupiter: Expect a wave of optimism, growth and opportunity. Take advantage of what will likely be an optimistic outlook and expand your horizons, learn something new, connect with new people and expand your network. Jupiter brings growth, so use this day to focus your energy towards anything you’d like to give with a little extra boost.

Mercury (Rx) conjunct Venus: A good day to revisit creative projects and refine your branding or marketing strategies. Maybe even re-evaluate your professional relationships and collaborations and put effort into strengthening connections with those who truly support your personal and professional growth.

Friday August 9th

*Void Moon (until 6:34 pm august 10th): There will be a full post on void moons, but for now - avoid starting new projects or making major decisions on this day. Use it to focus on routine tasks and finish up ongoing work.

Monday August 12th

First Quarter Moon in Scorpio

• Waxing Moon Sales Cycle: Take aligned action on your intentions. This is the phase that’s best for networking, sales calls, speaking events or hosting masterclasses. Wednesday August 14th

Mars Conjunct Jupiter: We’ll feel a burst of energy, enthusiasm and drive. This is a great day to take bold action towards our big goals, pour our energy into those near-delusional visions we have for the future and look out for any opportunities that will empower us to expand our reach and our horizons.

Mercury enters Leo: Since Mercury is in retrograde, it will be dipping back into Leo for a bit. This is a great time to revisit and refine your creative projects, specifically anything that you started or launched while Mercury was direct in Leo. This retrograde energy is a gift to help you reflect and make sure things are aligned with who you really are and what you want to do. Opportunities for revision and refinement will be clear when you take time to look back instead of continuing to push forward.

Thursday August 15th

Sun trines Chiron: This is an aspect that will bring us healing and growth around the fears we have around expressing ourselves and leading - whether it be leading others or stepping up as the leader of our own lives. Let go of the fear and old stories that are no longer serving you and allow your unique strengths to inspire those around you - especially the ones you don’t even know are watching.

Friday August 16th

Mars squares Saturn: Deep breath, this aspect is going to bring some tension between your drive to take action and the need for patience and discipline. You may be presented with obstacles that test your resilience and determination - but as much as this aspect challenges us it also provides an invitation to take a step back and refine your strategy instead of reacting to what’s not working. Look at delays or unexpected obstacles as the universe’s way of orchestrating divine timing. Let go of whatever it is you’re forcing and focus instead on how you may reframe the situation or refine your approach.

Sunday August 18th

Mercury squares Uranus: There will be changes or disruptions in communication and technology today. It’s Sunday - take the day off.

Sun conjunct Mercury: Happy Cazimi! If there is something you need to launch or announce during Mercury Retrograde, a Cazimi is usually the time to do it. However with the Mercury / Uranus square - this may be more of an internal clarity that comes through. Notice what you notice today. Maybe you’re going to find the answer or solution you’ve been looking for or a new creative idea will suddenly download.

Monday August 19th

Sun squares Uranus: Today will challenge your usual way of doing things. Be prepared for sudden changes that may disrupt your plans, but the silver lining is that these disruptions will ask you to find new, innovative solutions that you may not have thought of otherwise. Behind every breakdown is a breakthrough.

Full moon in Aquarius: This full moon will highlight themes of community, collaboration and innovation. Celebrate your achievements, reflect on your goals and let go of anything that is standing in your way.

Jupiter Squares Saturn: Buckle up, we have another square happening - and especially with a full moon pulling things to the surface, we’re going to feel some tension between expansion and limitation. You will be challenged to balance growth with practicality. This is not a day for big dreams - it’s a day for taking action on getting closer to those big dreams, one day at a time.

Notice what the full moon has asked you to release and then develop a plan on how you can meet your goals in a way that’s more practical than “if you can dream it you can be it.” Feelings are not facts, but they do lead you to the truth.

Thursday August 22nd

Sun enters Virgo: Happy birthday, Virgos! The Sun in Virgo will shift our focus to practicality, organization, and attention to detail. We had our fun in Leo season, now it’s time to put our heads down and get back to work by refining our strategies and improving our processes for more efficiency.

Venus Squares Mars: There will be tension between what you desire for harmony and the need for action. We’re asked to balance this energy today - you may have to pause or slow down on something you’ve been throwing yourself into in order to keep the peace.

Friday August 23rd

Mercury (Rx) Trine Chiron: Reflect back on the themes that came up for you on July 18th when Mercury formed a trine with Chiron. Since this is happening again with Mercury in retrograde, it’s an invitation to look back. What edges around fear or wounds having to do with your communication and self-expression still need to be healed and softened?

Saturday August 24th

Mercury (Rx) Sextile Mars: This could bring opportunities for strategic planning and decisive action. Since Mercury is still in retrograde, take extra time to refine what you want to say and where you want to move. Going over things twice is going to help you make your decisions about how to take action.

Mars Sextile Chiron: This Chiron aspect will bring opportunities for healing through action and assertiveness. Use this day to take bold steps towards your personal and professional growth. Perhaps it’s taking action on the things that became clear to you or decisions you made during the Chiron / Mercury trines. It may feel hard, but remember everything is always conspiring in your favor.

Monday August 26th

Third Quarter Moon in Gemini

• Waning Moon Sales Cycle: Take time to review your process and the metrics or intentions you’ve set with the new moon. Don’t worry about doing any big sales pushes now, it’s a time to follow up with prospects or close warm leads. Tuesday August 27th

Venus Trines Uranus: Get ready for some positive changes and opportunities for innovation in your business relationships or finances. Be a little radical today and try out or embrace unconventional approaches to your work - you’ll be supported and likely led to creative solutions you didn’t see before.

Wednesday August 28th

Venus opposes Neptune: There will be a need to balance practicality with idealism today. It is fun to be delusional about our dreams and the life we want to create - but in this material world, it requires action to bring them into physical form. Be mindful of potential illusions or unrealistic expectations and find ways to channel your energy into more practical things through which you’ll see a real, measurable return.

Mercury Stations Direct: Annnnnd, exhale. But don’t rush to launch things - we’ll still be in a post-shadow period for a couple of weeks. But you will feel things begin to move forward again and you can start to implement plans and strategies that were on hold.

Thursday August 29th

Venus enters Libra: Our values will shift from “getting it done” to basking in our relationships and creating harmony within our work. This is a great season for networking, supporting other people, fostering new partnerships, or maybe refining the aesthetic aspects of your business or environment.

Venus Trines Pluto: This trine brings us deep, transformative changes in our business relationships and financial strategies. Pluto is powerful, Venus is magnetic and a trine is lucky - so don’t resist whatever wants to change, there will be some lovely things on the other side of it.

August Tarot Pull: 8 of Swords

The 8 of Swords signifies feelings of restriction and being trapped by circumstances or self-imposed limitations. This card serves as a reminder that while challenges and obstacles may arise (especially this month), many of these barriers are within our control to overcome.
