The 29th Degree

The 29th degree is known as the Anaretic degree, or the “degree of fate” and signifies a critical point of completion and urgency. This full moon is occuring at the 29th degree of Capricorn, meaning there will be some kind of completion relating to themes of structure, responsibility, career and long term goals. As you reflect on what you’re building and where you’re heading, it will be a good time to take stock of your achievements and perhaps bring a long term goal or project to completion.

Conjunct Pluto

Pluto is the planet of transformation, power and the underworld - so it’s conjunction with this full moon is going to infuse it with a little more intensity. There will likely be hidden issues that are brought to the surface that reveal power dynamics, secrets, or deep-seated fears that you’ve been avoiding and finally need to address. This will be a time to purge what no longer serves your highest good. Be open to significant shifts in your career that may push you to reassess and transform your approach to achieving your goals.

This full moon will bring an end to an old way of being and mark the beginning of a new, more empowered version of yourself.

For me, this has felt like a leveling up in a way that has allowed me to recognize that I can no longer make this business sustainable on my own. I’ve made it this far, but that’s really only thanks to a couple incidences of “magic money” coming through that’s allowed me to continue to do this full time. I’ve been waiting to reach a sustainable, consistent revenue before I hired someone to help, but I think the cosmic joke is that I need to have someone come in and help before the business will really take off.

Capricorn rules my 7th house of partnerships, and my Midheaven’s modern ruler (Neptune) is also in the 7th house of my natal chart, pointing to my success coming through partnership in some way. I always chalked it up to having a personal partnership to support me, which has helped, but I think deep down I’ve always known I was meant to have someone come in and take on the parts of my business that suck my time and energy away from things that I actually enjoy doing. Can you guess what it is? Lol.

This whole dance between following your joy but also doing what’s needed in the modern day to build a sustainable business has been tough. I tend to have rose colored glasses with some things, delusional faith and believe that me and my guides can build an empire without any help from another human.

But fuck, that approach has been lonely. Maybe that’s the lesson here.

This moon is helping me release the notion that this is MY business that I have to build ALONE. This isn’t my business. This is a business that chose me as the vehicle through which it would manifest on the material world - it’s so easy to forget that when we get caught up in the day to day of it. But when I think about it that way, it makes sense to invite people in who want to be part of it. It’s time for me to release a bit of control.
